What do I think about teachers? Hmm, I generally would say, not much, but I know that’s not entirely true.  
Now, any reading this piece of text, may be insulted by what I say, but does it look like I care? No, I don’t think so…
Numerous students know when a teacher doesn’t want to be there, so they don’t enjoy the subject they’re being taught. It ruins it for them, putting them off that subject for life, even though it may be vital for their future.  
Some teachers are infuriatingly dull. They lack substance in their personality and their voice-box appears to have turned into a drone machine, making every teenager in a 5 meter radius, slowly drift off into a near unconscious state.  
But then there’s the bright gems that shine in the teaching community.  They’re the one’s that make class exciting, making the students desperately want the lesson to last a life-time.
I appear to be straying off course, so on to the other questions…
What does it mean to be a good learner? Since when was it a job description? Every one learns differently, in their own unique and individual way, so what I say won’t particularly make a difference. But one thing that may help those who want to be a good learner is listen to what your teacher has to say. They’re up earlier than you, they strain there brains to somehow make their subject more interesting and then some just throw back in their faces by not listening.
My expectations of you as a teacher, Mrs. McLeay, is to accept me as a writer, to possibly learn from what I write and not de-grade my writing, just because it may be over the top.
